Site Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all core operations activities at our Waterford manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the local operations team and oversee all core planning activities.
Maintain and improve the site Supply Chain Operation Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring timely and accurate supply visibility for all stakeholders Monitor inventory levels daily, managing stock against targets and minimizing excess Develop efficient production schedules that balance customer demand, capacity utilization, and inventory goals Drive customer satisfaction by tracking and acting on key metrics such as fill rates, backorders, and replenishment performance Coordinate with Production to prioritize low-stock or backordered products and provide reliable recovery timelines Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure correct planning parameters and lane setups Lead initiatives to enhance production planning processes, improving manufacturing efficiency while upholding service levels Support new product introductions, safeguarding launch timelines and managing initial build requirements Perform additional managerial and operational duties as needed, emphasizing continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in operations management or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, e.g., APICS Certification Demonstrated experience with managing a site-level S&OP process, understanding of Net requirement planning / RPCP tools and MPS Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel capability with Power BI, Altrix or Tableau is a plus Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a bonus
