In EY FS Ireland, we are expanding our Consulting practice and building our Technology Consulting team as a key component of our NextWave Strategy. We are actively recruiting high‑achieving individuals with customer and digital platforms experience and an expertise in multi‑channel technology‑enabled transformation projects/programmes within Financial Services.
The Technology Resilience & Digital Risk team in FS Technology Consulting is a new and rapidly growing team. We help our clients master their digital risk and resilience landscape, enabling them to drive confidence in their technology. We deliver a range of solutions such as resilience assessments, and focus on Resilience, Digital and Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance, Third Party Risk Management, AI and Data Risk, and internal audit technical SMR support.
Your Key Responsibilities
Maintaining recognised technical expertise in areas including Operational Resilience, IT and Cyber Risk Management/Transformation, Digital Resilience, IT internal audit technical SMR support, third‑party risk transformation, AI & Data Governance, Risk Management and Compliance.
Providing end‑to‑end leadership of client engagements, leading and coaching the team on a day‑to‑day basis and in assignment delivery.
Leading business development activities (e.g., pursuits, proposals, events, thought leadership).
Identifying, nurturing and managing client relationships as part of the management team.
Effectively managing client‑facing delivery teams.
Ensuring risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery.
Fostering and developing strong networks (local, area, global) with key service line champions across the firm.
Skills And Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
Experience working in an IT risk and control environment at Senior Manager level or equivalent.
University graduate, preferably from a Computer Science or Information Technology background.
6‑8+ years of consulting experience in Resilience, Operational/IT Risk Management, Cyber or related fields, with at least 3+ years at management level. Experience in project management, service delivery, regulatory environments is relevant.
Ideally, you will also have:
Big 4 management experience and training.
Knowledge of regulations and guidelines impacting the financial services industry, including DORA, Operational Resilience, Outsourcing, and Third‑Party Risk Management.
Experience in the financial services industry such as retail banking, insurance, funds, capital markets, or payment processors.
Knowledge of emerging technology, FinTech, cloud services and cybersecurity.
Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, NIST, CSA CCM, COSO.
Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CSX or COBIT.
