Fleming Medical seeks a focused commercial leader to join our Healthcare Team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading and developing our sales team, ensuring the successful execution of commercial strategies and delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) reporting directly to the CEO as part of the senior team.
You will bring strategic vision, strong leadership, and hands-on sales experience, ideally within Healthcare or Medical Devices, to coach, inspire, and elevate our office and field-based teams. This role is based at our head office, with regular travel to major hospitals and key customer accounts nationwide and international business partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Overall responsibility for the Healthcare sales targets for equipment and medical consumables to hospitals, primary care and Industry customers in Ireland.
2. Leadership of field sales, office customer service and service department team.
3. Mentor, coach, and manage the Healthcare team to deliver agreed sales goals and strategic initiatives.
4. Manage direct sales relationships with key accounts and oversee high-impact customer engagements for national supply and tendered contracts.
5. Collaborate with New Product Development (NPD) and Marketing to identify consumer needs, industry trends, and strategic improvements.
6. Partner with the Technical Services team to drive superior customer satisfaction.
7. Represent Fleming Medical at international trade shows and with overseas suppliers.
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior commercial role, ideally in Healthcare or Medical Devices.
3. Proven leadership, team development, and people skills. Strong analytical skills with a decisive approach to business challenges.
4. Demonstrated success in delivering targets and applying market insights.
5. Full, clean Irish driving licence and availability to travel within Ireland.
