Support Worker Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic support worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, promoting their independence and well-being.
The role involves leading initiatives that enable individuals to live fulfilling lives, developing meaningful relationships and connections within their local community. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing person-centred support, experience of working with individuals who require communication support, and knowledge of individualised support approaches.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing tailored support to individuals with diverse needs
* Developing and implementing person-centred plans
* Building strong relationships with individuals, families, and communities
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Required skills and qualifications include:
* Relevant qualification in healthcare or related field (e.g., FETAC/QQI level 5)
* Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, logistical, and IT skills

Working arrangement: The successful candidate will be required to work across all locations, move location at short notice, and fulfill all shifts and rotating/changing shift patterns including day, waking nights, sleepovers.
