We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our care team as a Healthcare Support Worker.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. Your primary focus will be on assisting with daily living activities, promoting their independence and dignity, and ensuring their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have strong organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage your workload efficiently.

You will be responsible for carrying out assigned and delegated tasks, including:

* Assisting residents with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Preparing meals and snacks, ensuring that dietary needs are met
* Supporting residents with mobility issues, including transfers and repositioning
* Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control procedures

In addition to your clinical skills, you will also need to demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with residents, families, and colleagues. Your ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is essential.

Requirements:

* QQI Level 5 in healthcare (or equivalent)
* 2+ years experience in elder care OR Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare related Degree
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Strong supervisory and motivational skills
