SG Education is a leading supplier of educational materials, specialising in Graphics, STEM, and Computer Science resources for schools across Ireland. We are passionate about supporting teachers and students with high-quality products and exceptional service.

We're currently seeking an enthusiastic Sales Support Executive to join our team in Carraroe, Co. Sligo.

As a Sales Support Executive, you will manage a portfolio of school customer accounts across Ireland, supporting sales growth through accurate quoting, CRM management, order coordination and exceptional customer service. You will act as the first point of contact for schools, guiding customers seamlessly from enquiry to delivery while building long-term relationships that keep SG Education a preferred supplier within the education sector.

This is a commercially focused support role ideal for someone who enjoys combining customer service excellence with account management and sales administration within a fast-paced education supply environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Support

* Support the full sales cycle for Irish school customers — from enquiries and quotations through to order processing and follow-up.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with school staff across Ireland.
* Handle incoming quote requests including Free Book Scheme enquiries, ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
* Develop product knowledge across our education catalogue to confidently support customer purchasing decisions.
* Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
* Assist with producing customer sales reports and commercial insights using Intact IQ ERP system.

Customer Communication & Order Management

* Communicate with schools via phone, email, CRM, webchat and post to ensure prompt, professional support throughout the school year.
* Manage incoming email enquiries relating to quotes, orders, delivery updates and account queries.
* Review active quotations and conduct follow-up contact where appropriate.
* Monitor open orders, including back orders, to ensure timely delivery and clear customer communication.
* Maintain accurate CRM notes — particularly where website orders are placed outside of linked school accounts.
* Proactively follow up with customers to encourage correct account use for future online ordering.

CRM, Administration & Duties

* Maintain up-to-date customer records in Intact CRM — including interactions, quotes, notes and contact information.
* Support CRM and marketing database updates alongside sales and campaign activity.
* Assist with providing product documentation, promotions and resource information to customers as needed.
* Collaborate with the e-commerce and marketing teams to help maintain accurate online catalogue information.

Internal Communication

* Report directly to the Managing Director while working day-to-day with our Buyer, Marketing team, Accounts, Warehouse and Retail Shop teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What are we looking for :

We're looking for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and structured sales support work.

Experience in sales administration, account support, customer service or B2B sales support

Excellent communication skills — confident on phone and email

Strong attention to detail and organisation

Ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines calmly

Comfortable working with CRM/ERP systems (training provided)

A collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Interest in education or the STEM sector is an advantage
