We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our food production unit in Galway. This role involves ensuring that our products consistently meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a comprehensive quality assurance program.
* Lead a team of quality control professionals, guiding them to achieve high-quality outcomes.
* Monitor product quality throughout the production process, identifying areas for improvement.
* Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures.
* Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
* Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
* Implement corrective actions to address identified areas for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
* Investigate customer complaints or quality issues, providing timely and effective responses.
* Train employees on quality control processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
* A qualification in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, BRC).
* Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and strong analytical skills.
