Job Description:
As a Chief Food Safety and Quality Strategist, you will be responsible for driving excellence in food safety and quality across our site. You will lead the development and maintenance of Site Quality Systems, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with BRC, BORD BIA, HACCP, group, and customer standards
* Lead and develop the Quality, Hygiene, and Facilities Cleaning teams
* Coordinate training to ensure quality and food safety competence across departments
* Manage internal audits and support third-party, customer, and regulatory audits
* Act as primary contact for DAFM representatives and customer queries
* Oversee supplier approval and specification systems
* Support NPD and Quality teams with trials and product introductions
* Manage and maintain the ISO system
* Drive continuous improvement and embed a culture of quality excellence
* Act as deputy for the Head of Technical during absence
Requirements:
* Degree in Food Science or related discipline
* Experience in the food industry
* Proven experience in a similar QM role
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food legislation, quality management systems, and auditing
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
