Salary: Up to €115,000 – €120,000 + Benefits
Hours: 7am–3pm
We are seeking an experienced Business Continuity and Crisis Management professional to join a growing Operational Resilience function within a global organisation operating in a highly dynamic and fast‑moving environment.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who has lived through real incidents, understands how organisations respond under pressure, and can confidently coordinate complex operational events with clarity and authority.
The team is well established from a governance perspective, so the focus of this hire is operational delivery, incident leadership, crisis coordination, and continuous improvement.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in managing and coordinating major incidents and crisis events across technology, operations, third‑party providers, and wider business functions. Working closely with global teams, including US‑based risk and resilience stakeholders, you will help ensure rapid response, effective communication, and strong operational readiness.
The role requires someone who can think ahead, assess emerging risks, and horizon scan effectively — whether that’s market disruption, geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain challenges, operational failures, or broader business continuity threats.
This position provides early‑day operational coverage across European operations, meaning you’ll often be the first point of coordination for overnight incidents requiring assessment and escalation.
Key Responsibilities:
Crisis & Incident Management
Lead and coordinate responses to major operational incidents and crisis events
Conduct rapid impact assessments and support critical decision‑making during live incidents
Drive incident governance, escalation management, and stakeholder communications
Coordinate cross‑functional response teams during high‑pressure situations
Ensure timely recovery actions and clear accountability throughout incidents
Business Continuity & Operational Resilience
Support and strengthen business continuity and operational resilience frameworks
Drive continual improvements across crisis preparedness, response capability, and recovery processes
Oversee testing exercises, scenario planning, and simulation activities
Contribute to horizon scanning and emerging risk identification
Ensure continuity plans remain practical, actionable, and decision‑useful
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Lead post‑incident reviews and root cause analysis
Track remediation actions and ensure lessons learned are embedded
Maintain strong oversight across crisis management and resilience activities
Support regulatory and client expectations relating to operational resilience
Stakeholder Management
Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across global teams
Work closely with US‑based Risk and Operational Resilience teams
Build strong relationships across business, technology, operations, and third parties
