I'm working with a global supplier of automation solutions to find an experienced Technical Sales Engineer.
In this role youll be responsible for developing and growing sales across Ireland with leading clients in high-impact industries such as Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Food.
Key responsibilities Own and grow key customer relationships by managing selected accounts from end-to-end, strengthening partnerships, and driving increased revenue and profitability.
Manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities to winning orders and expanding portfolio share across assigned regions or sectors.
Become a trusted industry expert, developing deep knowledge of customer applications and guiding and advising them on automation solutions.
Drive new business and project wins by identifying prospects, developing tailored proposals, and converting opportunities for products, services, and engineering upgrades.
Deliver exceptional customer support by providing both presales and post-sales guidancewhile contributing to business development efforts and maintaining accurate sales reporting.
Key requirements At least five years experience in automation or control sales in the industrial automation sector.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple key customer accounts.
Knowledge of automation and control technology such as PLCs, Control Switchgear, motion control, sensors and actuators Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Full, clean Driving License.
