Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our procurement strategies and processes. As a Senior Manager, Global Procurement, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing initiatives to optimize value, quality, innovation, speed to market, or other business needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Sourcing: Developing and executing global/local sourcing strategies for the respective area of spend responsibility and optimizing value within the organization.
* Contracting: Negotiating the commercial terms of contractual agreements with suppliers/spend under management, including pricing, delivery, payment terms, and quality.
* Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Initiatives including conducting performance meetings, driving the development and use of scorecards, working with stakeholders to review performance metrics, and managing supplier relationships to achieve the goals of the category strategy.
* Continuous Improvement: Supporting continuous improvements of the source-to-contract process, including responding to audit information requests, participating in compliance reviews, and working collaboratively with the sourcing/category team on department and company-wide initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
* A Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant, progressive experience, preferably including 6 years directly in sourcing Pharma/Biotech.
* Advanced level proficiency using negotiations skills, cost modeling knowledge, and excellent verbal and written skills.
* Ability to formulate presentations and business cases, build consensus, teamwork, and creativity within a collaborative team with limited supervision.
