Aviation Transaction Lawyer
We are seeking a seasoned Aviation Transaction Lawyer to lead our legal team in Dublin. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the legal execution of aircraft leasing and trading transactions.
This is a senior-level opportunity for a commercially-minded aviation lawyer who enjoys driving transactions from negotiation through execution in a fast-paced international environment.
The Role
* Transaction Management: Lead and manage the legal execution of aircraft leasing, trading, and financing transactions.
* Negotiation and Drafting: Negotiate and draft complex commercial agreements with airlines, financiers, manufacturers, and other counterparties.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless execution.
As an experienced Aviation Transaction Lawyer, you will also advise on and manage airline defaults, repossessions, disputes, and litigation matters. You will contribute to continuous improvement by updating company legal templates, policies, and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and negotiating complex cross-border transactions and strong interpersonal skills to lead internal deal teams and liaise with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction (e.g., Ireland, UK, US, etc.)
* Experience: Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in aviation finance or aircraft leasing
