We are presently recruiting for an experienced Reservations Assistant, for one of our clients, a well-established Business in Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
The Reservations Assistant will be pivotal in delivering a five-star experience, responsible for upselling and managing guest room reservations to the highest standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To be the first point of contact: As the initial touchpoint for our guests, you will expertly communicate available options, rates, and itineraries, ensuring a seamless and personalized booking experience.
2. Reservation Management: Convert all inquiries into confirmed bookings while maintaining and updating our reservations system (Hotsoft).
3. Rate Management: Manage and distribute rates effectively through our Channel Manager (D-Edge), ensuring optimal pricing and availability.
4. Customer Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our guests, always providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
REQUIREMENTS
5. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
6. Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
7. Knowledge of booking systems and CRM software is essential.
8. Familiarity with the Hotsoft booking system is highly desirable.
9. Language Proficiency: Must be a fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction
