We are seeking for a Quality Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and man-aging the Quality Management System (QMS) for the national rollout of the Train Protection System (TPS). This role ensures compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and relevant international standards throughout the design, installation, testing, and commissioning phases. The Quality Manager will oversee quality planning, assurance, control, and continuous improvement processes across the project lifecycle.Deutsche Bahn’s expertise is in high demand all around the world. About 6,400 employees from 84 nations are currently realizing projects of our customers with professional knowledge and intercultural experience.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure its implementation across all project phases.Oversee and manage all aspects of quality assurance and control, including internal and external audits, inspections, and quality reporting.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, CENELEC standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129), and Irish quality and safety requirements.Monitor contractor and supplier quality performance and ensure all works and deliverables meet specified requirements.Lead non-conformance reporting (NCR) processes, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Support the development and review of method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality-related documentation.Ensure all quality documentation, certifications, and records are maintained in a structured and auditable manner.Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, and safety teams to embed quality into project delivery.Provide quality training, awareness, and mentoring to project teams and subcontractors.Prepare and present quality performance reports and risk assessments to senior management and Irish Rail stakeholdersMinimum 10 years of experience in quality management within infrastructure, rail, or safety-critical system projects.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, and relevant rail standards including CENELEC (EN 5012x se-ries).Proven experience developing and implementing QMS on large-scale rail or infrastructure pro-jects.Experience managing audits, non-conformance processes, and supplier quality.Familiarity with safety-related systems and integration of quality with RAMS (Reliability, Avail-ability, Maintainability, Safety).Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.Proficient in quality management software and MS Office tools.Familiarity with ISO standards, configuration management, and quality control documentation.Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Excellent communication and organizational skillsOur offerProfessional Development: We’re strong believers in continual training and development for our people.
