Human Resources Advisory Lead Role Overview The HR Advisory Lead is a critical senior role responsible for overseeing core HR functions and providing expert guidance on employee-centric strategies. You will lead a team focused on career management, performance achievement, and compensation, ensuring all activities align with both Irish Employment Law and broader commercial objectives. This role requires a data-driven leader who can translate complex HR metrics into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Advisory: Act as an expert lead on core HR concepts, including career management frameworks, performance achievement cycles, and compensation structures. Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide high-level guidance on Employee Relations issues, ensuring all actions and policies maintain an excellent standard of compliance with Ireland Employment Law. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and efficient process operations. Data Consolidation & Analytics: Utilise intermediate to advanced Excel skills to consolidate and validate complex HR data, using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts to identify trends. Senior Stakeholder Communication: Summarise complex information into visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and written reports tailored for a senior executive audience. Process Innovation: Apply an innovative and creative mindset to drive operational efficiencies and implement continuous improvements across HR service delivery. Coaching & Relationship Building: Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to coach managers and build strong professional networks across the organisation to solve complex issues. Candidate Requirements Expert HR Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of performance management, career development, and reward systems. Irish Employment Law Expert: Demonstrated experience managing complex Employee Relations cases within the Irish regulatory framework. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading HR teams and managing diverse workloads. Technical Proficiency: * Excel: Advanced ability to manage complex data sets (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/Index Match, data validation). PowerPoint: Ability to create high-impact, professional presentations for board-level viewing. Systems: Knowledge of Workday is considered a distinct advantage. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of how HR drivers impact the overall commercial success of the business. Education & Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills with a relentless attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
