Syntech Recruitment are seeking a Technical Sales Solutions Specialist to become the go-to partner for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex challenges and building lasting commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for your customer base, offering expert technical guidance
* Conduct regular on-site client visits, developing a deep understanding of operational needs and future plans
* Lead on major tenders and quotations, aligning proposals with technical capability and commercial value
* Support with pricing and proposal development, ensuring submissions meet deadlines
* Build rapport with clients by handling queries professionally and with urgency
* Attend sales briefings and pursue opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and provide tailored solutions
* Proactively generate new business, identifying and converting opportunities into results
* Work to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
* Track all sales activity via CRM systems and Excel, providing clear and timely updates
* Represent the business at industry events and trade shows, promoting the brand and building relationships
Qualifications and Requirements:
A proven track record in technical sales, preferably within recycling, capital equipment, heavy engineering, or construction. A strong commercial mindset, consultative selling skills, and ability to manage a busy pipeline with clarity are essential.
Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
