Job Title: Senior Health And Safety Advisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and promoting a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system
* Conduct regular risk assessments and develop control measures to mitigate risks
* Develop and communicate health and safety policies and procedures
* Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety matters
* Monitor and investigate incidents and near misses
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a consistent approach to health and safety
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a health and safety or quality coordination role
* Train-the-Trainer certification for Manual Handling, Gantry, Abrasive Wheels
* Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices
* First Aid certification (desirable)
* Excellent report writing and root cause analysis skills
* Strong organisational and communication abilities
* A proactive, detail-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
