Job Description
Duties
* Secure opening and closing of Askea Parish Centre.
* Greet visitors and parishioners warmly and professionally.
* Keep the centre clean & tidy, including communal areas.
* Answer phone calls and provide information or direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
* Maintain accurate records of centre activities.
* Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
* Assist in planning and coordinating centre events, including meetings and social gatherings.
* Book venues, arrange catering.
* Oversee event logistics, such as seating arrangements, audio‑visual equipment, and signage.
* Support fundraising initiatives by assisting with promotional materials and event coordination.
* Maintain the centre's social media presence and website.
* Create and distribute marketing materials, such as newsletters and flyers.
* Build strong relationships with parishioners and community members.
* Represent the centre at community events and meetings.
* Some evening work is involved based in Askea Parish Centre.

* Proficient in technology: knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
