The Role: How You’ll Make an Impact at Barespace
As a UX/UI Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the look, feel, and usability of our platform. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to translate insights into intuitive, elegant design solutions that truly meet user needs.
This is a hands-on design role for someone who’s excited to craft experiences from start to finish—from early-stage research and wireframes to high-fidelity visuals and handoff. If you’re passionate about solving real problems through great design, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
* Own the Design Process: From discovery to delivery—ideation, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, and iteration.
* Collaborate Closely: Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and customer teams to bring new features to life.
* Design for Scale: Contribute to and evolve our design system to support consistency and scalability across the platform.
* Put Users First: Use customer insights, feedback, and data to inform and validate your design decisions.
* Support Product Growth: Help craft experiences that increase adoption, satisfaction, and retention.
* Champion UX: Advocate for best practices in usability, accessibility, and design thinking within the team.
What You Need to Succeed
* 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a SaaS or digital product environment.
* A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work across web and mobile apps.
* Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
* Solid understanding of design systems, interaction design, and responsive UI principles.
* Great communication skills, we want you to explain your thinking clearly and collaborate well with others.
* A problem-solving mindset with a focus on simplicity and usability.
Bonus Points For
* Experience designing for B2B SaaS, or vertical-specific platforms.
* Familiarity with frontend technologies and working with developers on implementation.
