The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated Software QA Engineer with a passion for quality and automation to join our growing engineering team.
You'll be embedded within an agile delivery squad, working closely with developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-performing, scalable microservices and backend APIs.
This is a hands-on technical QA role – perfect for engineers who love building robust automation, diving deep into systems, and ensuring software works flawlessly under real-world conditions.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for microservices, APIs, and data pipelines Perform Backend API testing, Database validation, and Integration testing Write BDD tests using Cucumber in a Java -based test framework (JUnit, Maven, Gradle) Automate tests for Spring Boot and Spring Batch applications deployed to OpenShift / Kubernetes clusters Validate SQL queries, stored procedures, and complex data transformations Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines ( UDeploy, Jenkins, etc.) Collaborate with developers to define test coverage, quality metrics, and debug issues Use Unix/Linux commands for log analysis, deployment, and validation in distributed environments Work with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift Interact with distributed systems including Kafka, Redis, etc.
