Production Planner Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the efficient production of high-quality vaccines.
Job Description:
The Production Planner will develop and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage detailed production schedules
* Maintain realistic timelines and ensure accuracy across all planning activities
* Minimise production downtime and maximise resource efficiency
* Cordinate with Engineering to balance maintenance windows with production needs
* Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure necessary resources (materials, personnel, equipment) are in place
* Identify and address potential bottlenecks in advance
* Track and manage inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods to support production schedules
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of production scheduling experience in a GMP-regulated environment
* Proficiency in MS Excel is essential - experience using ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards is also essential
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
* Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex planning scenarios
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
