Location: Mitchelstown


Role Overview


We are currently seeking a Full Time Parts/Stores Person to join our Denn-Part business which provides alternative parts for all makes, truck, trailer components, accessories and used parts.

This is a key role within the aftersales side of our business and will assist with the growth of our Denn-Part offering in the Republic of Ireland.


Location


The role will be based at our stores premises in Mitchelstown, County Cork and will liaise very closely with our Field Based Sales Representative for the local area. The role will also involve liaison with, and may involve occasional travel to, our central Denn-Part support team based in County Antrim.


About The Role



Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Receipt of parts and completion of stock handling in a timely and accurate manner
* Ensure all stock is placed in correct store locations
* Maintain stock levels and keep accurate inventory at all times
* Report to management, errors, discrepancies, and damages for action to be taken
* Completion of accurate invoices for customers in a timely fashion
* Liaise with our central accounts team regarding payment queries
* Delivery and collection of parts using the most efficient and effective routes and methods
* Assist with the co-ordination of campaigns, events, and represent the company as required
* Pass on customer complaints in line with company procedures
* Respond to sales representative and/or customer queries in a timely manner
* Maintain personal appearance/presentation, and working habits to reflect both the company and brand image

Required Criteria

* Must possess previous experience of working in a similar role in a stores / vehicle parts environment
* Be IT literate and have previous experience of using various computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office, stock control systems etc
* Possess the ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships to drive customer loyalty and confidence
* Be an excellent communicator both verbally and in written format
* Possess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to work
* Be self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiative
* Be able to manage their time effectively
* Possess a full, valid driving licence
* Possess a working knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety regulations


Desired Criteria

* Previous experience of working in, or having exposure to, the heavy vehicle industry would be highly desirable
* Previous experience of invoicing would be highly desirable
* Possession of a current forklift training licence/certificate would be advantageous
