Optilase is currently hiring both Full-Time, Patient Coordinators. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for new and existing patients, handling general queries with professionalism and care. You will be responsible for managing appointment bookings efficiently, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient. A key focus of the position is building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with patients, providing a welcoming and supportive environment from the very first interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and social media enquiries in a professional and timely mannerBook, amend, and confirm appointments using electronic patient record systemsAssist in minimising non-bookings or cancellations by confidently managing objectionsWork within the set key performance measurements defined by the Team LeaderTake payments and maintain accurate patient recordsGreet and welcome patients attending consultations or surgery appointmentsManage patient flow and experience within the clinic settingRespond to patient queries and complaints, escalating as appropriateIdentify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling relevant servicesComply with GDPR and all data protection policiesActively participate in quality improvement, risk mitigation, and patient safety initiativesPerform any other ad hoc tasks as required by the businessPlease note that this list is not exhaustiveRequired Education, Training, and/or Experience:Previous customer service experience (essential)Experience in a reception, clinic, or contact center environment (advantageous)Familiarity with working toward KPIs or sales targets (preferred)Previous administrative experience (advantageous)Skills & Attributes:Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and phone mannerStrong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and professional approachOrganised, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a teamConfident and proactive with a keen focus on patient satisfactionTime management and problem-solving skillsHigh level of professionalism and integrityJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to €33,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee assistance programEmployee discountOn-site parkingStore discountWellness programWork Location: In person
