Finance Officer – Coleraine
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established community-focused organisation as a Finance Officer, supporting the effective financial management of a busy project environment. In this part-time role, you'll play a key part in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory and funding requirements.
About the role:
* £ £21.60 per hour
* 30 hours per week

What you'll be doing in this role:
* Manage the day to day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate records of all income and expenditure
* Maintain computerised and manual bookkeeping systems, including bank reconciliations, petty cash, sales invoicing and debtor management
* Monitor and analyse income across multiple funding streams, ensuring all funding is correctly recorded, lodged and reported
* Process supplier payments, maintain purchase approval systems and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts
* Support the Project Manager in preparing annual budgets and monitor performance against actual spend
* Prepare quarterly income and expenditure reports and investigate variances
* Maintain budget trackers to support financial control and decision making
What you'll need for this role:
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, budgeting and financial reporting
* Experience managing payroll and statutory submissions
* Ability to work with multiple funding streams and meet reporting deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confidence working independently and as part of a team
* Experience using Sage 50 Payroll is desirable
* Experience within the community or voluntary sector would be an advantage
