Our client is an International Retail Group who are looking for an experienced finance professional to join their Dublin based team on a permanent basis.Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play a crucial role in the maintaining the accuracy, integrity and safeguarding of all inventory for the Irish business.ABOUT THE ROLE:This role will be sitting in the Dublin office and will include a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities with a specific focus on Inventory.Main duties and responsibilities will include:Implementation and roll-out of a new inventory control system;Preparation of the monthly inventory analysis packs, outlining inventory movements, obsolescence and overheads;Business partnering with operational departments (sales, distribution and procurement teams) to ensure accurate reporting of all inventory movements;Liaise with senior management to assist in the budgeting and forecasting of inventory items;Address external and internal audit queries as they arise;On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.ABOUT THE PERSON:Experience of working in inventory control, inventory auditing, or financial analysis of inventory;Prior Retail/FMCG industry experience preferred;Excellent communication and organisational skills;Full driving license is required;Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;Solid working knowledge of Excel.This is an ideal role for someone looking to join a fast-growing international business, in a role that offers exposure to both Finance and Operations.
