Carne is now recruiting for a Financial Reporting Associate as part of the Financial Reporting team. Ideal candidates will be ambitious professionals who are seeking to build their careers in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
What are the minimum requirements?
* Third level qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar
* A professional qualification in accountancy would be advantageous
* Prior Financial Reporting experience – in particular, reviews of Financial Statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures preferable
* Proficiency using MS Office applications
* Genuine interest in working in the funds industry.
What is your role and your responsibilities?
* Review of interim and year-end Financial Statements covering a range of structures including UCITS and AIF products across a number of jurisdictions;
* Engage with Administrators as part of the Financial Statements process and interact internally with each client Account Manager to ensure identified issues are addressed;
* Participate in the preparation of Board Reporting through Carne’s technology platform;
* Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements;
* Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of procedures as part of the team’s processes when required;
* Establish and maintain excellent relationships with each of the fund delegates including investment managers and administrators, to ensure clear lines of communication;
* Adapt to new tasks and processes requiring support from the Team ensuring that they are implemented and continuously performed to the required standards;
* Provide regular feedback to the internal IT Development Team to ensure the on-going evolution of Carne’s technology platform to meet the growing regulatory reporting requirements of our Clients;
* Foster a positive team ethic and support the development and training of staff, when required.
