Responsibilities
As a Senior Active Travel Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of active travel projects, focusing on sustainable transport solutions such as cycling and pedestrian infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure all designs meet client and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in engaging with clients and stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in designing and delivering active travel infrastructure projects
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools
Strong knowledge of Irish transport and planning regulations
Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills
