On behalf of our client in Dublin, we are hiring a Business Development Executive to join their growing team within the community enterprise space. This individual will work closely with the CEO.This position is suited to someone with strong community engagement, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for supporting local business development. You will work closely with the CEO and Board engaging with stakeholders, SMEs, entrepreneurs, and local government to foster a supportive environment for growth and collaboration and establish a thriving community of businesses.Key RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in business development, marketing, or community enterprise roles.Proven experience in growing services, facilities, or membership organisations.Demonstrated success in developing and promoting events, training, or education programmes.Ability to work independently while thriving as part of a small, mission-driven team.Strong knowledge of the entrepreneurial ecosystem is desirableTrack record in sourcing funding or identifying business opportunities is desirable.A strong existing network in enterprise, community development, and/or local government is desirable.Skills & AttributesExcellent communicator with standout interpersonal skills.A confident networker who enjoys building and nurturing relationships.Marketing and branding mindset - creative, strategic, and results-focused.Organised project manager with the ability to deliver high-impact results.A self-starter who thrives in a community-focused, purpose-driven environment.Entrepreneurial and proactive with a flair for problem-solving.Familiarity with government programmes, enterprise supports, and funding initiatives (local, national, and EU) is desirable.
