Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence and resolving non-conformances to ensure business continuity.
* Technical Lead on teams responsible for Supplier Management across the organization.
* Demonstrate expertise in Commodity Management and Quality Assurance.
* Support strategic objectives related to Quality, Cost, and Service.
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement of Quality Systems, Service Capability, and Total Cost of Ownership throughout the Supply Chain.
* Investigate and resolve Material Quality issues promptly.
* Collaborate with Quality, Procurement, and Business Units to resolve issues and disposition product.
* Promote Quality Systems within the Supply Base.
* Ensure compliance with IQOQPQ protocols and manage supplier/vendor relationships effectively.
* Work closely with Procurement, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Receiving Inspection to ensure component quality meets established requirements.
* Develop and implement Corrective Actions with Suppliers.
* Provide guidance to functional areas on Supplier Management system requirements.
* Contribute to development, maintenance, and improvement of Supplier Management Policies and Procedures.
* Communicate effectively with Internal & External Stakeholders.
* Develop new Supply sources in collaboration with Procurement Team.
* Assess and Approve Supplier Requested Process Changes.
* Identify and support Material Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) throughout the Supply Chain.
* Lead process transfers from development or other manufacturing facilities.
* Develop project plans for major projects and product/process transfers.
* Implement supporting documentation compliant with GMP standards.
* Lead problem resolution to drive project progress.
* Escalate unresolved obstacles to project success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
A minimum of 2+ years experience in a Supply Chain, Materials, Quality, or Project Management role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
