Job Description & SummaryWe are seeking a commercially astute and analytically driven Finance Business Partner to join our Irish office, supporting the Advisory business of a large global professional services firm. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision‑making, and enhancing operational efficiency across the consulting portfolio.Line of Service: Internal Firm ServicesIndustry/Sector: Not ApplicableSpecialism: IFS - FinanceManagement Level: Senior ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesMonth‑End & Revenue ManagementParticipate in monthly revenue calls to proactively address issues.Investigate low recovery jobs and missed provisions.Review negative net billable WIP by partner and job to support balance sheet integrity.Analyse inter‑service line revenues within the Irish practice.Assess resourcing mix (onshore, offshore, contractors) for cost optimisation.Margin AnalysisConduct ongoing reviews of engagement margin levels.Evaluate portfolio profitability and recommend corrective actions.Support pricing decisions through detailed margin data analysis.Shape of BusinessAnalyse financial and HR data to inform hiring and promotion decisions.Provide insights to leadership on workforce planning and business structure.Forecasting & ReportingOversee weekly forecasting and pipeline tracking.Monitor job closures and week‑to‑week financial movements.Manage queries from sector and competency teams.Lead change management for new P&Ls.Supervise production of weekly dashboards and KPI analysis for the CFO.Working Capital ManagementIdentify and implement process changes to improve cash collection.Advise on deal structuring to enhance working capital outcomes.Ad Hoc Financial AnalysisLead or support strategic ad hoc analysis to inform executive decision‑making.Candidate ProfileQualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).Experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable.Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.Proficiency in financial systems and data visualisation tools.Unlock your potential with PwC IrelandWe believe that challenges are better solved together!
