After school assistant required to join our team, part time position for school term time only 38 weeks of the year (September to June -4/ 5 days per week).
Candidates must be kind, caring, have excellent communication skills and organisation skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Be familiar with and able to follow the National Quality Guidelines for School Age Childcare.
Experience REQUIRED and must enjoy working with children aged 4-12 years.
Duties would include, homework supervision and assisting, communicating with parents/ guardians and staff on daily basis, planning and organising age appropriate activities and games both indoor and outdoor for school aged children.
Expected hours: 15-18hrs per week
