You'll be working hands‑on with premium garden machinery every day, in a business that genuinely values technical expertise and takes pride in every repair that leaves the workshop.The RoleWe're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Small Engine Technician to join a busy, specialist workshop team in Ratoath.Day to day, you'll diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment — from petrol lawnmowers and ride‑ons to chainsaws, brushcutters, hedge trimmers and more. If you know your way around a 2‑stroke engine and enjoy solving mechanical problems, this role is a great fit.Full‑time and permanent, with a consistent Monday‑Friday schedule and no weekend work.Key ResponsibilitiesService, repair, and maintain small engines across petrol and battery‑powered equipmentDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults on lawnmowers, ride‑on mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, hedge trimmers, and related garden machineryCarry out 2‑stroke and 4‑stroke engine overhauls and tune‑upsUse manufacturer systems for diagnostics, parts ordering, and service recordsEnsure all equipment is tested and returned to a high standardKeep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all timesWhat We're Looking ForHands‑on experience with small engines or outdoor power equipment (essential)Solid understanding of 2‑stroke and 4‑stroke engine mechanicsAbility to diagnose faults independently and work efficientlyFamiliarity with brands such as Husqvarna, Stihl, Honda or Echo (an advantage)Good attention to detail and a pride in quality workmanshipReliable, punctual, and a team playerWhat's on OfferPermanent, full‑time role with genuine job stabilityCompetitive salary based on your experienceMonday to Friday only — no weekendsWork with premium, well‑known equipment brandsJoin a long‑established, family‑run business with a loyal customer baseSupportive team environment where your skills are valued
