DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Systems Supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation and administration of the FMS solution within the Authority. This dynamic phase of digital transformation within the Authority presents an opportunity to work at the forefront of new technologies and play a key part in the development of enhanced operational processes within a growing organisation. The successful candidate shall undertake tasks, including those listed below, to the highest standards: Triage and resolve queries and tickets relating to FMS, providing prompt and effective ticket management that meet predefined service-level standards. Engage with user(s) throughout the ticket/incident resolution process, providing regular progress updates throughout. Escalate specific incidents to relevant parties when necessary. Administer and maintain user access and removal requests, managing permissions based on user roles and responsibilities. Perform various data management tasks including, but not limited to, maintenance of master data, archival of data and management of data control and validation rules to safeguard data integrity across systems. Review data quality and alignment with other relevant systems including HR and procurement Support testing during the transition to the new finance system Assist in possible regression testing to validate specific system functionality after notable upgrades and system changes. Support the delivery of training to end-users on system administration. Provide possible cross-departmental support for future projects impacting Finance Systems as a functional area (e.g. implementation of FRT, the organisations Finance Reconciliation Tool, or NGT, Next Generation Ticketing). Contribute to a strong compliance culture by ensuring internal controls are maintained. Assist with other ad hoc assignments as agreed to support the general work of the organisation. CRITERIA: Each candidate should meet the following requirements at the time of the competition closing: Hold a minimum of a NFQ degree level 7 qualification in a Finance, IT or other related discipline. Have relevant experience working with ERP systems and/or industry-leading ITSM solutions (preferably ServiceNow) Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills. Have fundamental Management & Delivery skills (Communication, Relationship Management, Proactivity, Decision-Making). Possess proficient Business skills relating to competencies like customer service. The ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
