We are looking for an
Apprentice Lift Engineer
to join our Repairs/Maintenance team in
Dublin
. As an Apprentice Lift Engineer you will work with experienced Lift Engineers to learn and understand the company and requirements to become a qualified Lift Engineer.
What You Need To Be Successful
* To complete a 4 year Electrical apprenticeship, supported through a structured in-house development programme in conjunction with SOLAS.
* To undertake a range of tasks suited to the current level of training and development in the lift industry
* Attend SOLAS and complete course work on time and to a high standard
* Assist and liaise with Managers / Supervisors on relevant work activities
* Understand and apply the electrical principles associated with lift installation and lift maintenance on all electrical equipment and systems
* Ensure compliance in all Health and Safety practices in current legislation
Employment is subject to an interview, reference checks and you must meet the minimum entry requirements for an Electrical Apprenticeship.

To be successfully shortlisted for the apprentice scheme you must:
* Be qualified to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard
* This must include five passes in the Leaving Certificate (Maths and English must be two of these)
* Submit an Ishihara colour vision test – it must be on the SOLAS form
* Ideally hold a Full Clean Irish Driving Licence - you will need Commercial Use Car Insurance Cover on your vehicle used for business travel.
