The role of Technical Advisor is crucial in supporting customer service and ensuring a customer-centric approach. This position will involve coordinating and collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver timely support, resolve issues, and promote business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate service and support for products and services.
* Deliver timely support for customers directly and indirectly through a network of sales companies.
* Provide on-site support in emergency cases.
* Prepare and deliver technical reports on project/job completion.
* Train clients, employees, and apprentices on-site and in-house.
* Liaise with departments to eliminate faults and improve products.
* Work with sales and global networks to promote and develop business opportunities.
* Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
* Maintain quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in engineering or an applicable trade.
* Working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.
* Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
* Experience in a similar technical support role.
* Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
