This position is ideal for a recently qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 1-2 years post-qualification experience who is eager to take on responsibility and further develop their career in a collaborative, high-performing team.
Responsibilities Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of structured finance and aviation-related SPVs in line with statutory and transactional deadlines.
Take ownership of the full financial reporting process under IFRS or local GAAP.
Manage the onboarding of new clients and ensure delivery of all accounting requirements.
Support and train junior team members, contributing to a collaborative learning culture.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to support accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare quarterly management accounts and support VAT and corporate tax compliance.
Submit regulatory returns.
Take on SPV directorships over time, gaining broader client and transaction exposure.
Other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 1 year post-qualification experience in financial services.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP, and understanding of SPV structures.
Prior experience in audit (execution or preparation) or financial reporting roles.
Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is an advantage.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
