Advocate – Western Region (Temporary Full‑time)

NAS Office, Riverstone House, Henry Street, Limerick City.
About the Role
The National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities (NAS) is recruiting an Advocate to provide independent, confidential, and free advocacy services to adults with disabilities in the Western Region until May 2027. The role focuses on individuals who are isolated, have communication differences, or are inadequately accommodated.
Responsibilities
Represent and support clients in accessing services and community participation.
Engage independently with service providers, families and other supports.
Travel within the Western Region and work unsocial hours when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must obtain Garda Clearance before commencing work.
Access to a car for travel across the Western Region.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Regional Advocacy Manager
Salary & Benefits
Salary: €49,598 – €66,361 (pro‑rata for part‑time). Annual leave: 23–25 days after 5 years continuous service. Pension: mandatory scheme with 5% employee and 7% employer contribution.
Additional Information
Incremental credit may be granted for new entrants above point one of the scale; decision is by the Board and depends on funding availability.
