Operations Branch Officer - Leadership Career
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Branch Officer to join our team. As an Operations Branch Officer, you will play a critical role in the overall running and operational readiness of Naval Service vessels.
* You will be responsible for bridge watchkeeping, overseeing safe navigation, monitoring maritime traffic, and ensuring the safety of the ship and crew.
* Duties include leading boarding teams during fishery protection, anti-smuggling, and drug interdiction operations.
* In this leadership role, you'll have opportunities to progress to Commanding Officer status.
The successful candidate must meet medical physical security clearance standards. Additionally they should hold either a Department of Transport Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer) Class 1 2 or 3 with watchkeeping experience or another recognised qualification deemed equivalent by the Minister for Defence.
