This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a strong sales mindset who can identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client and market needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on the road, bringing industry connections with them, and thriving in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development efforts across B2B markets, including commercial solar, CEG, retrofits, builders, and partnerships.Adopt a structured approach to business development activities, maximising the use of the CRM.Identify and secure new opportunities to expand Energywise Ireland's presence in both commercial and community energy sectors.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as contractors, developers, housing associations, SEAI representatives, and community leaders.Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and tenders for prospective clients and large-scale projects.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery, compliance with grant requirements, and customer satisfaction.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy and identify growth opportunities.Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth objectives.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience in business development or sales, ideally within renewable energy, construction, or related B2B sectors.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.A structured approach to business development activities.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.An understanding of SEAI programs and retrofit initiatives, with knowledge of commercial solar and energy efficiency solutions is desired.Proficiency in CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.Full driving license and willingness to travel across Ireland as required.Existing industry relationships that can be leveraged to accelerate growth are highly desirable.What we offer:A competitive salary package including a competitive base salary & commission structure.Company health insurance with Laya Healthcare.Participation in our pension scheme with Irish Life.A company vehicle & fuel card.Employee Assistance Programme.Death benefit policy.The chance to be part of a company at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions.A supportive and collaborative work environment.If you are enthusiastic, possess the required skills, and are ready to contribute to our mission of sustainable energy solutions, please submit your resume.Energywise Ireland is an equal opportunity employer.
