CREGG is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support our clients manufacturing facility. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and related systems to ensure equipment is running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Carry out preventive maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and milling equipment. Diagnose and repair faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Calibrate and fine-tune CNC machines to maintain performance accuracy. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment issues and implement long-term solutions. Keep detailed records of maintenance work, service history, and parts usage. Follow all company safety protocols and adhere to environmental and regulatory standards. Recommend system upgrades or process improvements to enhance equipment reliability. Monitor and manage spare parts inventory for CNC machinery. Coordinate with OEMs and external vendors for complex repairs as needed. Requirements: Qualification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related discipline preferred. Minimum of a Level 6 or trade qualification. 13 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment. Strong working knowledge of CNC control systems and machinery. Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals. Safety-focused, with high attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Interested?
