Job Overview
This is a 12-month contract supporting maintenance and repair at a global leader site in Ireland.
About the role:
The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring seamless operation of production lines, with a focus on mechanical/electrical installations and commissioning.
We are looking for:
* Technically minded individuals with a great attitude to learning;
* Individuals with Level 6 qualification in Mechanical / Motor Maintenance or Electrical; or Graduates with Engineering Disciplines in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
* Experienced hires from installation/commissioning backgrounds with 2-3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support daily operations with technical expertise;
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment availability;
* Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues;
* Document activities and observations as required.
Requirements:
* Relevant education, preferably in mechanical/technical fields;
* Minimum 1 year's experience in manufacturing/technical roles;
* Ability to work with hand and power tools;
* Ability to read drawings and schematics;
* Willingness to work varying shifts (06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00) and flexibility with working hours;
* Flexibility, attention to detail, and teamwork skills required.
