Job Summary:
Our client is a leading provider of water treatment equipment who are looking for a Utilities Technician to join their team on a brewery site in Kildare. In this job you will be working in a team to ensure that the site’s critical utilities infrastructure is operational and well maintained. This will be an initial 3 month contract with prospect for extension.
Main Duties:
* Maintaining, monitoring and operating primarily wastewater treatment systems in line with relevant standards.
* Conducting routine inspections, sampling and testing.
* Diagnosing and fixing issues with equipment such as pumps, filters, valves, etc.
* Ensuring environmental and sustainability goals are met in line with sustainability and regulatory standards.
* Maintain good records of operations and incident reports.
* Identify and implement process improvements to improve equipment efficiency.
Your background:
* For this Utilities Technician job, you will have previous hands-on experience with similar equipment, and will ideally have a relevant technical qualification.
* You will also have strong attention to detail with an ability to read and interpret schematics, as well as be able to work on a shift pattern.
