The role
GENTLE HANDS HOME CARE, 4 Main Street, Dublin 15, D15 P6CN
This Work Placement Experience Programme provides Participants with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. This programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Your eligibility for this programme will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.
Job Description
Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form. The Administrative Assistant will gain experience while assisting with the following tasks:

Using the OneTouch system to monitor clock-in and clock-out times for all care assistants.
Updating staff files with certifications, training completions, and any other required documentation.
Enquiries regarding schedules, shift changes, and timekeeping for the care assistants.
Preparation and reviewing of timesheets for payroll purposes based on data from the OneTouch system.
Occasionally assisting with client enquiries, particularly around scheduling or feedback on services.
Monitoring office supplies, handling phone calls, and maintaining a well-organized office environment.
Uploading documents to our system.

Role Description
This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module. The participant will receive formal and informal training and mentoring in the following areas:

Formal Training: Manual Handling, GDPR, WPEP QQI Work Experience, Career Development and Progression, Training and Education (if needed).
Informal Training: Customer Service, Communications (email, telephone, in-person), HR processes and procedures.
