Job Description:
The Accommodation Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's housekeeping department.
* Oversee and manage all aspects of Housekeeping, focusing on delivering an exceptional Guest and Member experience.
* Strategically operate within budget constraints through effective stock and cost management, as well as well-structured schedules.
* Maintain and enhance the appearance, standards, and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team.
* Rostering in line with operational objectives.
* Develop and implement staff training programs, evaluate employee performance, and provide opportunities for growth.
* Regularly attend Hotel Operations Department meetings.
* Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
* Responsible for procurement, storage, inventory control, and management of all housekeeping-related items.
* Ensure team members have up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Prior experience as an Accommodation Manager or Assistant in a high-end, high-volume 4/5* Hotel environment.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
* A natural leader who can motivate their team and drive results.
* High standards-driven when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene.
* Eligibility to work in Ireland full-time without restrictions.
* Superb command of English both spoken and written.
