Job Title: Materials Planner
The Materials Planner plays a crucial role in the supply chain, responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, procurement, and management of materials to support production and operational goals. This includes analyzing demand forecasts, maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, supporting production schedules, and driving process improvements across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to determine material requirements
* Create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
* Coodinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, quality or pricing
* Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to meet production needs
* Determine excess or obsolete inventory and recommend actions to reduce waste
* Collaborate with production teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering field
Minimum 3 years experience in Material Planning ,Supply Chain or Manufacturing operations. Strong analytical skills are essential. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle is required. Excellent communication & problem solving abilities also important Proficiency in Excel & data analysis skills ,
