Meet the team: Our Receiving Inspection Department within our Quality Assurance team are looking for a dynamic and skilled RI QC Inspector 4 (Senior Inspector Level) (Onsite role) to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry.
As a member of the Receiving Inspection team, the inspector is responsible for ensuring the activities related to the inspection functions are performed in a manner which meets company standards and methods as determined by the Quality Assurance or other Engineering departments.
Where you come in: You will perform inspections, check testing and sampling procedures for incoming components, materials, subassemblies and products to ensure conformance to specified requirements in accordance with material specification, drawing and Quality Assurance standards.You will prepare, record, and update receiving inspection report forms and ensure all paperwork contains accurate and legible information.You will perform transactions related to RI Materials in a defined system.You will work closely with Quality Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers and other functions on any material, equipment or test-related issues that arise.You will assist in carrying out TMVs and troubleshooting test methodsYou will monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure there are no issues and equipment is safe to use.You will adhere to all GMP, safety guidelines and company standards at all times.You will assist in setting up the Receiving Inspection Dept.
and associated RI Lab.You will assume and perform other duties as assignedWhat makes you successful: You will have a minimum Level 6 in Quality, Engineering or a related discipline.You will have 5-8 years' experience within the medical device industry.You can demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and written and verbal communication skillsYou will be proficient in the use and set up of inspection Equipment and tools (Smartscope, Keyence, etc.
)You will be proficient with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and can read mechanical drawingsYou must be able to flex to work in different shifts to meet demand.Proficiency with statistical analysis (e.g.
