Ireland is seeking three
specialist physicians in child and adolescent psychiatry
to work at three mental health services in Cork, Waterford, and Donegal areas of Ireland.
These three wonderful, prosperous coastal areas boast schools, incredible natural parks, restaurants, and lively areas.
The candidate will be part of the consultant team and will be one of the department's top managers.
Duties:
1.Clinical and Administrative Management
• Oversee psychiatric and psychological care for children and adolescents.
• Coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, etc.).
• Establish assessment, diagnostic, and treatment protocols.
2. Supervision and Training
• Oversee the clinical practice of staff, including residents and trainees.
• Promote ongoing team training.
3. Intervention in complex cases
• Make decisions in highly complex or high-risk clinical cases.
• Coordinate with other services (emergency, pediatrics, social services, educational centers, juvenile justice).

What's offered:
Base salary from €*******K gross per year (new salary starting March 25) (there are six salary scales, and you'll be at one level or another depending on experience) + on-call pay, reaching up to €320K GROSS per year, approximately €*****K per month.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience (including specialty)
- Very high level of English (C1). No certificate required.
- Register with the IMC on the register of specialists in psychiatry or any other subspecialty within psychiatry. We will assist all candidates in doing this if they are not yet registered. We are one of the few agencies that will actually review all your documents to do this.
- All candidates who are not registered must be qualified as specialists in psychiatry in the European Union (no CVS will be considered without this requirement) or, alternatively, must have held a specialist title recognized in an EU Member State and have practiced for three years from the date of recognition if they come from outside the EU.
