Logistics Manager Role Overview
The company is seeking a driven Logistics Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Logistics Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Being a key member of the Supply Chain senior management team, working within the team and across the company to ensure smooth operation of the business
* Implementing operational efficiency and customer service improvements through team engagement, use of digital tools, and use of lean tools.
* Planning and leading all Logistics activity as part of planned SAP (ERP) & systems upgrade projects.
* Optimising all aspects of logistics costs to eliminate waste and utilise resources fully.
* Building strong collaborative relationships with the Operations, Sales and Finance teams to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Developing, measuring and achieving of relevant KPI's specifically Safety, Operational Efficiencies, Stock Record Accuracy and Customer Service Index performance.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Stock Management, Front Line Management qualification.
* Proven relevant experience within a Logistics, Warehouse Management role (ideally within manufacturing or construction materials).
* Proficient in MS Office, SAP or equivalent software.
* WCM /Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma certification desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrated success in change and project management and excellent leadership and team management skills.
