The Role & What You Will Be Doing
The Engineering Maintenance Planner will be responsible for organizing and scheduling all maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and comply with regulatory standards, ensuring that maintenance tasks, whether preventive, corrective, or predictive, are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

* Develop, manage, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime
* Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to align with operational demands and avoid disruptions
* Oversee resource planning, ensuring availability of labor, tools, spare parts, and materials for all maintenance tasks
* Manage and track work orders through CMMS, ensuring timely execution and accurate documentation of maintenance activities
* Maintain comprehensive records to ensure compliance with GMP, HPRA, DEKRA, FDA, and other regulatory standards
* Support internal and external audits by providing up-to-date maintenance documentation and reports
* Lead the development and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance programs for critical systems and utilities
* Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, enhance reliability, and implement cost-effective process improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical experts to drive maintenance best practices and performance enhancements
* Train and support maintenance staff on procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring rapid response to emergency maintenance needs
About Your Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years of experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry
* Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management software.
* Knowledge of Regulatory Authorities, and other industry-specific standards.
* Project Management skills, qualification an advantage
* Excellent Interpersonal / Communication skills
* Structured decision making
* Computer literacy (Word, Excel, CMMS systems, Calibration systems)
* Report preparation & presentation
* Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
* Proven analytical and problem solving skill
* Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization
