Job Opportunity: Commercial Contracts Lawyer
The company is seeking a qualified and experienced commercial contracts lawyer to support its UK and European operations.
This role will involve advising on various commercial agreements, drafting and reviewing contracts, and managing disputes and litigation.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for all UK legal matters, providing guidance on commercial agreements and marketing initiatives.
* Develop and negotiate contracts for sales, distribution, sponsorship, procurement, logistics, and digital services.
* Collaborate with regulatory and IP colleagues to advise on marketing and promotional activities.
* Lead compliance initiatives across sustainability, data privacy, competition, anti-bribery, and cyber security.
* Manage disputes, litigation, and settlements, liaising with external counsel when necessary.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of post-qualification experience with a strong background in commercial contracts.
* Previous in-house experience, preferably within FMCG or food & beverage.
* A collaborative approach with strong influencing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and partner effectively with various functions.
